This is an all gender, all experience level league. The league will utilize the rules and regulations of the United States Bowling Congress (USBC).
Dates/Time: All games will be played on Tuesday beginning at 6:30 PM.
Facility: Renaissance Bowling Center located at 19600 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48203.
Registration Cost: $110 per player, this includes the weekly bowling fee of $12 for all eight weeks of the season! In an effort to make Stonewall available to everyone, we utilize a fee waiver program that you can learn more about here.
Registration Information: December 12, 2022 - January 2, 2023
Equipment: Your registration fee includes bowling shoes and ball rentals from Renaissance, should you need them. Players may also wear their own bowling shoes and bring their own bowling ball to facility. Participants will also receive a name/pronoun pin that needs to be worn each week.
- Teams: A team consists of 4 players.
- Captains: If you plan on being the captain of a team, you will need to register first and then have players register under your team name. You will also be required to attend a general information session the week before the season begins. Any emails will be sent once the captains' meeting date/time is confirmed along with further information.
- Players:
- I plan to create a team: If you plan to create a team you will need to register as the team captain (see above). Then you can tell your friends to register as a team player to join your squad. To become one of the new teams, you must register 4 (four) players.
- I plan to join a team: If you already know which team you are going to play on, you will need to register as a team player. Keep in mind that you cannot randomly join any team. Captains may ask that a player be removed from their team prior to the close of registration. Captains can email the leadership team to remove a player from their team, but only after the captain has communicated with the player first and explained the removal.
- I want to play but don't have a team: That's fantastic! This league is about making new friends and building community. Register as a free agent and we will place you on a team. We will host a registration event where you can meet other Stonewall players before the season. There you will be able to meet board members, team captains and other players. You may also find a team you would like to join.
- I have a few friends but not a team: If you have a few friends but not a full team you can register as a Small Group. We will do our best to make sure that you are all on the same team with one another. If for some reason the group has to be broken up we will notify all of the players.
