Stonewall Sports is an LGBTQ+ & Ally community-based, non-profit sports organization founded in 2010 that strives to raise funds for local non-profit organizations. Our league values each player for who they are and what they bring to the league's community.

This is an all-gender, all-experience level league. The league will utilize the rules and regulations as adapted from American Cornhole Organization official rules.

League Structure

• Players will play in pairs. Free agents can sign up as individuals to be paired with one other person.

• 7 Weeks of Regular Season Play

• 1 End of Season Tournament

Registration Cost

$60 per player. In an effort to make Stonewall available to everyone, we utilize a fee waiver program that you can learn more about at this link. Refunds are not offered for any Stonewall Sports Detroit activities.

Registration Schedule

Registration for this league will begin 1/22/2024 and run through 2/14/2024 (or until sold out).

Important dates

7 weeks of league play with 1 single elimination tournament at the end of the season determined by regular season seeding.

Mixer/Opening Party - Feb. 19th, 2024

(*If any weeks need to be canceled due to weather, schedule will resume the following week and End of Season Mixer will be canceled)

Regular Season Play

Teams will randomly be assigned to Group 1 or Group 2 at the beginning of the season. Play alternates between Group 1 and Group 2 every 20 minutes with a 5 minute break in between to reset the boards and prepare for the next round.

6:30 PM - Venue Opens

7:00 - 7:20 PM - Group 1 (Round 1)

7:20 - 7:25 - Break

7:25 - 7:45 - Group 2 (Round 1)

7:45- 7:50 - Break

7:50 - 8:10 - Group 1 (Round 2)

8:10 - 8:15 - Break

8:15 - 8:35 - Group 2 (Round 2)

8:35 - 8:40 - Break

8:40 - 9:00 - Group 1 (Round 3)

9:00 - 9:05 - Break

9:05 - 9:25 - Group 2 (Round 3)

9:25 - 10:00 - Open Cornhole/Fowling and Close

Rules & Regulations
The rules being used for league play have been adapted from American Cornhole Organization (ACO) official rules. All equipment will be provided by Stonewall Detroit. Custom equipment is prohibited. Full list of rules is available at this link.
